SUPERVISION, ACCREDITED.

Chelsham supervision is provided by Ashridge Accredited Supervisors who have all qualified from Ashridge’s flagship supervision programme.

We are all highly-experienced executive coaches who have strengthened our supervision experience, and further enriched our coaching practices, via the programme and the qualification.

We see supervision as an essential part of the coaching relationship.

We deliver trusted, ethical supervision to help you work through complexity, create clarity & focus for your agenda, maintain the highest possible professional standards and to achieve results.

Our intention: supervision relationships, of the highest quality.

PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR COACHES

We will set out to create a ‘working alliance’ with you, as fellow professionals, to develop your capability, to provide a supportive context in which to discuss your client work, to build/sustain confidence, and to ensure that ethical standards are being upheld.

A combination of accredited supervision, coaching expertise, business acumen and intuition leads to our unique practice.

A compassionate, supportive practice which helps you develop, challenges you on your coaching and works with you to open your eyes to new ways of working.

it’s all about the RELATIONSHIP

Supervision can be transformative for coaches grappling, often on your own, with challenges in your practice.

Our supervision is, first and foremost, relational.

This is your space and we go to where you want to go, within the context of our overarching contract.

We’re on and by your side as you grapple with your development and objectives. We provide the supervision and guidance you need to be the best coach you can be.

We do not compromise on what we believe is right.

We have the utmost respect for ethics.

We are in touch with our values.

“it’s simple really. you have REINVIGORATED my COACHING practice, pointed me in the right DIRECTION where needed and helped me regain my confidence. ”

the art of SUPERVISION

The influences onto our supervision practice are many and varied. Hawkins, Proctor, Shohet, de Haan, Sills, Casement, Heron, Zaslav, Carroll, Nutt … we could go on. Those influences comprise the science behind our work.

And yet, for us, it’s as much about what happens in the room, what we notice happening between us as we explore your practice, what that tells us about what is happening in your coaching room.

We will notice things. Everything is data. We will reflect. We can discuss whatever you want. We can go anywhere, within reason, in service of your objectives. We take risks together in order to achieve breakthroughs. That is development.

We are alert to shame and vulnerability. The most experienced coaches can feel these emotions as they open themselves up to scrutiny. And therefore if we challenge, we challenge with compassion. We are on your side. We don’t judge.

The space we create will be calm, supportive, curious and positive. We set out to give our supervisees attention, space and focus to work through your objectives and challenges, whatever they may be.  We will connect with you and then we will explore together.

This is the art of supervision.
